David Borish is a Co-Founder and CEO of Magenta Studio. He is an independent Enterprise AI Strategist, keynote speaker, and author based in New York. He created the Open-Prem Inflection Point framework, then partnered with IBM to deliver the Open-Prem Strategy Accelerator workshop. He advises Fortune 500 organizations on AI deployment and serves as a Guest Lecturer and Mentor at New York University. He holds two patents, has multiple successful exits, and has spent 25 years building at the edge of what's possible, from co-creating the first VR headset sold on television with Shark Tank's Daymond John to developing the first high-speed 360-degree camera technology adopted by the NFL and NRL.

In July 2024, Borish wrote that China's AI capabilities would surge, a call that drew skepticism until DeepSeek's emergence months later. Chinese open-source models now compete directly with leading commercial systems, a shift his research has tracked from the first signals forward. He is the architect of the Exponential Replacement Curve, a framework for measuring AI capability.

Jason Goldwatch is a Co-Founder and Chief Creative Officer of Magenta Studio. He is a director, editor, and self-described disrupter who has spent three decades shaping music and culture from behind the camera. Born in San Francisco and trained at CalArts, he began as the youngest director signed to Spike Jonze's Satellite Films, then toured as a photographer and documentarian with Dilated Peoples, Rage Against the Machine, and Kanye West.

In 2000, Goldwatch partnered with Peter Bittenbender on the documentary and soundtrack One Big Trip, which led to the pair co-founding Decon in 2002. Decon grew into a New York creative agency and record label known for campaigns with NBC Universal, Nissan, and Fiat. In 2013, Decon partnered with Nas to relaunch Mass Appeal, and Goldwatch became Executive Creative Director of the combined company, whose record label debuted with Run the Jewels 2.

He is best known for his directorial work with Kid Cudi, Pharrell Williams, Jay-Z, Tyler the Creator, Linkin Park, Nas, Kendrick Lamar, Jay Electronica, and The Alchemist, and he received a Daytime Emmy nomination for directing Eric Ripert's Avec Eric on the Cooking Channel. From his earliest work, he has credited himself at the start of every video he directs, a personal branding decision he made before the industry caught up to the idea.

Will Hatcher is a Co-Founder and Chief Creative Technologist of Magenta Studio. He is a comedian, author, futurist, creative technologist, and cultural innovator reshaping the relationship between humor, music, and artificial intelligence. Recognized by TIME as one of the 100 Most Influential People in AI, honored in the Ebony Power 100 for 2025, and named to the Ad Age Power Tech List for 2025, he brings intellectual depth to his work as a contributor to the Mensa Research Journal.

A self-taught coder and “curious doer,” Hatcher creates boldly and continuously, using curiosity as fuel for new ideas. His viral AI hit “BBL DRIZZY” became one of the most widely remixed AI tracks in music history, sparking global conversations about Black creativity and the future of AI-driven art.

Phillip Leeds is a Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of Magenta Studio, an AI production studio and creative agency redefining how brands and stories get made.

For more than a decade, Phillip was a key member of Pharrell Williams' core team, serving as Creative Director and Global Brand Manager for Billionaire Boys Club and ICECREAM, growing the labels from their 2005 launch into brands celebrated in Vogue and GQ and worn by everyone from Jay-Z to Andre Leon Talley. During this era, Phillip was also one of the four original co-founders of Mass Appeal, the influential hip-hop media and culture brand, alongside longtime collaborator and fellow Magenta co-founder Jason Goldwatch.

His career began at the vanguard of hip-hop, working alongside Lyor Cohen, Kevin Liles, and Chris Lighty at Rush Artist Management, before moving into tour management for Pharrell, N.E.R.D, and Kelis. In 2015, Phillip founded General Strategy / Agency For Higher, a creative consulting firm connecting brands, investors, and emerging industries, with General Strategy handling the firm's broader consulting work and Agency For Higher focused on the emerging legal cannabis industry. He is also the photographer behind the acclaimed Big Shots! book series (Rizzoli, 2017; Blurring Books, 2024), capturing three decades of hip-hop and fashion's most iconic figures.
